The University of Chicago History and Philosophy of Science (hps) E-Mail List

The hps e-mail list is a forum for announcements of upcoming academic and social events at the U of C related to the history and philosophy of science. Announcements include visiting speakers, upcoming conferences, job openings, parties, and other news from the Fishbein Center and CHSS, and this is also a forum for asking questions or discussing problems relating to your work. To join the list, send the message "subscribe hps [your e-mail address]" to hps-request@listhost.uchicago.edu. To send a message to members of the list, address your message to hps@listhost.uchicago.edu.

The University of Chicago Philosophy of Physics (philphys) E-Mail List

The philphys e-mailing list is for those in the Chicago area interested in philosophical issues arising in contemporary physics. This mailing list is open to anyone wishing to subscribe. Anyone is free to post messages to the list, so long as it is related in some way to the study of philosophical issues in contemporary physics. Messages may include, e.g., colloquia announcements, requests for information, (brief) posting of new findings, attempts to coordinate schedules for meetings, etc. To join the list, send the message "subscribe philphys [you e-mail address]" to philphys-request@listhost.uchicago.edu. To send a message to members of the list, address your message to philphys@listhost.uchicago.edu.
